As a Lawn Care Treatment Technician, your primary responsibility will include applying treatments, identifying lawn issues, finding solutions and ensuring that each customer’s specific requirements are met accurately and attentively. You will work with different treatment plans as well as learn the irrigation side of the business. Responsibilities:
  • Apply lawn care treatments such as fertilizers and pesticides following company guidelines to enhance and upkeep the health and appearance of customers’ lawns.
  • Operate, maintain and organize lawn care equipment, including sprayers and spreaders, to ensure precise and efficient application of treatments.
  • Engage with customers to promptly address inquiries or concerns related to lawn treatments, aiming to deliver exceptional customer service and guarantee satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of applied treatments and promptly report any issues or concerns to supervisors to support detailed documentation and assist in evaluating treatment effectiveness.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working in various outdoor conditions to prioritize the safety of oneself, colleagues, customers, and the environment.
  • Assist in sales growth through canvassing and building customer base through contact on service routes.
  • Equipment and Warehouse-ensures standards of cleanliness are being adhered to daily.
  • Safety-responsible for personal, equipment and vehicular safety as it relates to job requirements.
  • Provide service to residential customers by making lawn applications, diagnosing, and correcting lawn problems through service calls and other customer communications.
  • Follow a daily schedule, ensuring timely arrival at each account.
  • Identification-of insects, weeds, and diseases as it relates to job function and implement appropriate control solutions.
  • Providing additional services through aeration, soil amendment, and over seeding.
  • Complete cross-training in other departments and provide assistance to other service lines as needed.            
Qualifications:
  • Lawn care application experience Required.
  • TDA Structural Pest Control Service License Required.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions, policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, techniques, skills, materials, and mechanics of chemical application processes
  • Positive attitude, driven, willing to learn and grow professionally.
  • Must be able to demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adapt to change.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and pass an internal insurance background check to operate a company vehicle.

Compensation & Benefit Details:
  • Compensation: $17 to $24 hourly, performance-based bonus
    • Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
    • Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
    • Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” and must be able to travel on short notice.
    • Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods.
