We are offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for new Design Sales Representatives.  Terms are: $1,500 will be paid out after 90 days and an additional $1,500 will be paid after 180 days of service and in good-standing and active employment with Bumble Bee Blinds.
Compensation and Perks:
  • Base of $32,000 to $35,000 + Commission.
    • Total Compensation around $57,000-$60,000+ in first 12 months

Bumble Bee Blinds is the fastest growing Window Covering business (blinds, shades, draperies, shutters & outdoor shades) in the country. Mobile is our newest location servicing most of Baldwin and Mobile counties.

As a Sales Consultant at Bumble Bee Blinds, you will be responsible for selling window-covering products and installation services to residential and commercial clients in the Baldwin and Mobile County area. You will help build a clientele, drive sales revenue, and back the company on standards, quality, and professionalism. A successful Sales Consultant will hold oneself to high customer service standards while being detail-oriented, organized, creative, ambitious, and very personable. You will use your strong listening and communication skills, as well as intellectual capital and a sales driven mindset to present innovative solutions to prospective customers.  This role is ideal for sales professionals who have a passion and strong ability to connect with others, build genuine rapport, and close sales.

In this role, you’ll spend your days making the homes and workspaces of our clients more beautiful, functional, and comfortable by servicing the qualified leads that our award-winning marketing team generates. You will have full support staff around you including a General Manager, local owners, a full installation team, call-center to support all the calls, a marketing group dedicated to filling up your schedule with leads, digital lead generation team, customer service for product questions and plenty more! Responsibilities: 
  • Drive leads. Conduct lead generation activities like local canvassing. 
  • Expertly match our diverse products and services to client’s needs
  • Arrive on time to work and any/all appointments and meetings
  • Drive leads. Answer new and existing customers' phone calls while following sales processes
  • Successfully close appointments by demonstrating our unique Value Proposition, and by building trust    and credibility
  • Properly execute all systems and procedures to ensure client satisfaction, and to avoid order errors that adversely affect the company’s bottom line and positive reputation
  • Measure, record, and configure specifications accurately and efficiently
  • Provide high-level client service and follow up in a friendly, professional, and timely manner for both internal and external clients
  • Be flexible to the needs of the business, including appointment scheduling, time off requests, attending team meetings and training
  • Build and nurture strong networking relationships with new clients, existing clients, interior designers, realtors, and builders in the market
  • Responsible for maintaining, updating, and communicating client data, project status, and job details in the CRM

Required Qualifications: 
  • Minimum High School Diploma, some college work or degree is preferred. 
  • Strong working knowledge of common computer software including but not limited to: MS Outlook Word, Excel, and CRM programs.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.  
  • 1+ years of experience in self-generated lead sales, commercial sales, or customer service (must be comfortable with in home sales).
  • Availability to work full-time five days per week
  • Very detail oriented, organized, and can keep efficient notes and records. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High energy, positive attitude, and forward thinking. 
  • Strong team player and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Must be able to demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adapt to change. 
  • Ability to follow policy and procedures. 
  • Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure.
Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
    • Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
    • Use vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.
    • Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc.
    • Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” and must be able to travel on short notice.
    • Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods.
