Stand Strong Fencing of Arlington is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by presenting and selling the features and benefits of our premium fencing solutions and driving the sale of products to prospective clients through outbound calls, email communications, individual meetings, and other potential leads.

Sales Consultant will adopt and master our structured sales process, complete required training, and work to exceed sales goals. By continually prospecting for new customers through networking, referrals, and effective follow-up, the sales consultant will help expand our client base and build lasting relationships. Additionally, you will set and maintain appointments to ensure consistent performance, collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and successful project execution.

Experience and Education
  •  1+ Years of Sales Experience in Home Service or other related fields
  • Experienced at reading, interpreting, and managing financial statements.
  • Experienced in MS Office or G Suite, QuickBooks or accounting software, and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently.  
  • Must have a valid driver’s license. 
Primary Responsibilities  
  1. Client Engagement & Consultative Sales
  • Confirm and qualify booked appointments, ensuring client needs are understood and met.
  • Conduct consultative sales appointments, generate accurate estimates, and present comprehensive proposals to property owners or representatives.
  • Address potential client queries promptly and professionally to ensure a seamless sales experience.
  1. Lead Generation & Market Expansion
  • Perform organic and paid lead generation strategies and activities to drive new business opportunities.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the marketplace, competitors, and industry trends to identify new business and marketing opportunities.
  • Create and execute a product marketing plan aimed at increasing sales and revenue.
  1. Product Expertise & Customer Education
  • Develop deep expertise in product, technical, industry, and process knowledge in relevant product areas.
  • Demonstrate products to potential customers, ensuring they understand the value and benefits.
  • Develop and provide product reference documents and materials for customers to enhance their buying experience.
  1. Sales Planning & Coordination
  • Organize, plan, and prioritize sales calls and appointments to maximize efficiency and results.
  • Collaborate with installation team leaders to analyze client requirements and ensure seamless communication across departments.
  1. Record Keeping & Administration
  • Perform basic record-keeping and data entry tasks to ensure proper tracking of sales activities and client inquiries.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients and co-workers, fostering positive and productive relationships.
  1. Additional Responsibilities
  • Travel as needed for progress and quality assurance checks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall business objectives.

  • Understanding of construction, building codes, and building methods.
  • Understanding in product, technical, industry, and process knowledge in relevant product areas.
  • Ability to uncover customer needs including: goals, plans, challenges, timeline, and budget
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive approach to sales through new business development and lead management follow-up
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a state of ambiguity.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to anticipate future consequences and trends.
  • Initiative, good judgment, strong prioritization, and ability to carry multiple projects through to completion.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: 
  • Engage in organic marketing tactics and/or field work
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Capable of twisting, using hands to handle objects, and reaching with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to push, pull, climb, or balance as needed.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must have the ability to talk and hear clearly in various work environments.
  • Work outside in elements and varying seasons 
  • Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 100 lbs or more. 
  • Must be able to drive a motor vehicle for extended time periods.
