About Stand Strong Fencing of Sarasota FL  

Sarasota is one of Stand Strong Fencing's newest markets and this office services Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Venice.
We provide a wide range of fence solutions to both residential and commercial customers. We provide employees with world-class training and systems, and our work is backed by a 100% Lifetime Workmanship Warranty, making it easy for customers to choose Stand Strong Fencing for their fence construction projects.
 
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base pay of $35,000 per year + percentage of each sale.  Total compensation range is $75,000 to $110,000+
  • Company vehicle and fuel card provided for all sales calls
  • Minimum of 2-3 sales meetings arranged and booked for you per day              

About this Role
 The Sales Consultants at Stand Strong Fencing drive new sales of residential and commercial fenceconstruction projects. Each sales team member is expected to:
  • Learn and adopt the Stand Strong Fencing structured sales process and complete required training  
  • Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, industry knowledge, and process                 knowledge in relevant product areas  
  • Expertly consult with clients and present the features and benefits of Stand Strong Fencing as a business, along with its products and services   
  • Continually prospect for new customers through networking, referrals, and other organic lead    generation strategies, and effectively follow-up with previous appointments to win new business
  • Set and maintain the required number of sales appointments to meet or exceed sales goals and confirm and qualify booked appointments
  • Generate accurate estimates and professionally and comprehensively present proposals to property owners
  • Perform lead generation strategies and activities
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of marketplace, competitors, and industry trends to identify new business opportunities
  • Organize, plan, and prioritize sales calls and appointments
  • Work with install team leaders to understand, explain, and analyze client requirements
  • Address potential client queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform basic record keeping and data entry to ensure proper tracking of sales and client needs/inquiries
  • Interact with clients and co-workers in a kind and professional manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Other Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent             
  • Consistent record of high sales achievement
  • Fence sales experience preferred, but must have 2+ years sales experience in home services, construction, or a related industry             
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with the internet and modern software applications
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight  
  • Ability to treat others with respect and gain trust and respect from subordinates and supervisors
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  
Physical  and other Requirements                                                                                                                 
 While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:                            
  • Enjoy going out into the community knocking on doors and engaging with owners.
  • Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
  • Work outside in the elements during each season
  • Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 25 lbs.
  • Be able to drive a motor vehicle for extended time period
